On May 29, 2025, Yan Liya, representative of our association in Togo, was invited to attend the symposium for Chinese-funded enterprises in Togo hosted by Chao Weidong, Chinese Ambassador to Togo. At the symposium, Ambassador Chao Weidong put forward important guiding opinions on further promoting China-Togo economic and trade cooperation.
Ambassador Chao emphasized that all Chinese-funded enterprises in Togo should always adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, earnestly enhance their political stance, firmly establish a sense of the bigger picture, conscientiously implement all decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on foreign affairs, and solidly carry out various operations and development work in Togo.
Ambassador Chao specifically pointed out that in the face of new situations and new tasks, all enterprises should further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, give full play to their initiative, innovate development ideas, actively forge ahead, and make greater contributions to pushing China-Togo bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a new level.
Representative Yan Liya stated that the association will actively guide its member enterprises to implement the spirit of Ambassador Chao’s instructions, provide service support for cultural, economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Togolese enterprises, and contribute to the sustained and healthy development of China-Togo economic and trade relations.
